  2. such a great festival for the year is well prepared and advertised country wide via mass media. my concern is, why does SABC not the same to all Radio stations' festivals? e.g we recently had Marula annual festival holds MLFM, but they ddnt publish or advertise as much as they do for the upcoming festival

    1. it might have been that the MLFM did not have the budget for publicity on television and because the SABC sponsors the Ukhozi gospel event that why there is a lot of publicity

  5. Well, a good show right there... well planned and coordinated! As a potential PRP, there's so much I've picked up in terms of publicity management and media relations from the Ukhoza FM Gospel Event! One point I'm always worried about is music piracy, I wish these artists could meet specially to address it, what do you think?

  6. Ukhozi FM is definatelty showing that it takes it's events and the public seriously. This event has definately generated a lot of publilicity which is what I think other public relations practitioners should learn from. Giving back is also a way of showing that it cares about the public.

  8. You know, this was the biggest gospel event of the year. Ukhozi FM Gospel Music Festival, also played a big role by engaging on Community Relation campaing which is the good PR for gospel industry. We need more events to halt abuse aimed at women and children...I must say that is a great dynamism

  11. Now that is an awesome image management and planning by Ukhozi FM. Involving popular artists like Solly mahlangu and Keke and giving away hampers will definetly create hype.with Ukhozi Fms 9 MTN Radio awards, and its 7 million listenership rates. It is no wonder that this event will be a success. I agree with you great community relations through supporting organisations such as the Arnie Williams Foundation for Abused Women and Children in Johannesburg is a definite way to generate support for Ukhozi FM
