UJ CREATES PLATFORMS FOR STUDENT WITH ARTISTIC DREAMS

Dreams can be persued

When I heard about the event taking place at University of Johannesburg (UJ) this Friday 24th 2012 in the Sanlam Auditorium at Kingsway Campus at 18:00, I was impressed by the fact that UJ does take interest in the student’s passion, hobbies and dreams they have. UJ does not offer Performing Art but it created a platform for student in all campuses to pursue their artistic dreams while studying.
The art tust that is in partnership help with
some events at uj sourc:artlink.com afai.org.za
UJ arts and culture is in partnership with The Arts and Culture Trust (ACT), they create opportunities like theatrical performance where student from music, drumming, poetry recitals and ballroom dancing and many more to showcase their talent to a lot of audience and among the audience music producers and other performance industries are always there to look for fresh talent.

UJ art and culture is in collaboration with MU.SO Music Society to present the live love Play a musical feast. The show that will blow you mind with UJ choirs singing African music, award winning choir from the Soweto Campus will be featured and Quadro and drumming circle. This is an event not to be missed as the will be different and unique performances. Tickets are R40 for general admission and R25 for students for booking you can go to this websites and book MU-SO  and UJ ARTS AND CULTURE
this is a great opportunity for student to build and create relationship with companies and industries so that they can be able to recognised for their talent. As a student at UJ i think the publicity is there for other student who have artistic dreams but is not enough exposure for them.
